Sensor Electrical Engineering Co-op (Spring 2027)

What you will do

• Support research and development of precision inertial guidance instruments and next-generation guidance applications.
• Participate in product development activities including design, prototyping, analysis, simulation, modeling, and testing.
• Develop and test instrumentation electronics with low-noise operational amplifiers, analog-to-digital and digital-to-analog converters, and analog filters.
• Work with accelerometers, gyroscopes, MEMS, and other sensors in different form factors.
• Perform PCB layout, routing, integration, and testing.
• Communicate technical work through oral presentations, written memos, and collaboration with senior technical staff.

Requirements

• US citizenship is required.
• H1B and Student Visa holders cannot be hired; visa sponsorship is not available.
• Dual citizens cannot be accepted for this position.
• Enrollment in an accredited engineering curriculum.
• Experience with at least two relevant areas, including electronics design and testing, modeling and simulation, FPGA or digital design, PCB design, signal integrity, controls, or digital signal processing.
• Ability to work as a self-starter and team player while communicating technical work effectively.

Nice to have

• Experience with MATLAB, Simulink, LabVIEW, SPICE, CST, COMSOL, or ANSYS HFSS/SIwave.
• Experience with Xilinx Vivado, Microsemi Libero, Cadence, or Mentor Graphics.
