2027 Spring Co-op Device Strategy & Innovation (Medical Devices)

Location: Cambridge, Massachusetts, United States; must relocate to the office and work onsite 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, for the full six-month co-op.

Salary: $29.00–$57.00 per hour.

What you will do

• Conduct guided technology research to identify emerging trends, tools, and solutions relevant to patient care and clinical programs.
• Gather and analyze patient and clinical program requirements to identify unmet needs and improvement opportunities.
• Identify and evaluate innovation opportunities aligned with organizational goals and patient outcomes.
• Organize and contribute to innovation projects across the device development process.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, external partners, and vendors to develop new ideas.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing a bachelor's, master's, or PhD in Mechanical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, or a related engineering field.
• Must be permanently authorized to work in the United States without requiring current or future employment visa sponsorship.
• Must be enrolled at an accredited college or university throughout the co-op.
• Must be able to relocate to the Cambridge office and work onsite 40 hours per week.
• Strong communication, collaboration, and learning skills in a fast-paced environment.

Nice to have

• Hands-on experience developing medical or drug delivery devices.
• Capstone or research experience in device engineering or biomedical applications.
• Experience with multiple device types or routes of administration.
