What you will do

• Participate in transaction functions and portfolio investment activities within the European High Yield Bond and Leveraged Loan Group.
• Build detailed financial models, forecasts, analyses, and valuations.
• Work with senior analysts to develop fundamental and relative value investment recommendations for portfolio managers.
• Maintain written research on existing investments and produce industry reviews.
• Contribute to portfolio positioning and business and industry due diligence.
• Monitor the performance of existing portfolio investments.

Requirements

• 3–4 years of experience in leveraged finance markets, or qualification as a Chartered Accountant with 4–5 years at a Big Four accounting firm.
• Outstanding financial modeling and analytical skills.
• Competence in financial statement analysis, business valuation, accounting, and finance.
• Understanding of high yield bond and leveraged loan markets.
• Bachelor’s degree with excellent academic qualifications, typically at 2:1 level or higher.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, initiative, integrity, and professionalism.
