Senior Vice President, Credit Practices - Asset Finance

Location: London; hybrid work with four days in the office each week

Base salary: GBP 134,700.00–195,566.66 annually; target bonus: 30% annually

What you will do

• Serve as a subject-matter expert for analytical teams covering Asset Finance, Project Finance, PPP, Infrastructure, and other sectors.
• Advise on complex credit issues, methodology application, macroeconomic conditions, and sector trends.
• Participate in and chair rating committees.
• Identify cross-sector themes, macroeconomic developments, and systemic risks affecting credit quality.
• Contribute to hirify.global DBRS thought leadership.
• Support the development, enhancement, and maintenance of credit methodologies across multiple asset classes.

Requirements

• At least 10 years of fundamental credit experience, including substantial exposure at a rating agency, lending institution, private credit platform, or comparable organization.
• Deep experience in Asset Finance credit sectors such as Project Finance, PPP, and Infrastructure.
• Strong theoretical and practical foundation in financial analysis, research, and complex credit assessment.
• Experience managing and mentoring analytical teams in a performance-driven environment.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to synthesize complex analyses for senior audiences.
• Bachelor’s degree in finance, data science, economics, or a related discipline required; advanced degrees, MBA, or CFA preferred.
