Outside Sales Account Manager (MRO)

What you will do

• Meet with prospective and existing customers to promote MRO products and consultative solutions.
• Build and maintain customer relationships to support retention and satisfaction.
• Upsell and cross-sell products while expanding product categories within assigned accounts.
• Prospect within the assigned territory using networking, industry events, referrals, and other channels.
• Plan territory coverage and provide management with feedback on market conditions, competitors, and customer preferences.

Requirements

• 3–5 years of outside sales experience in the MRO or industrial supplies industry is preferred.
• Experience with B2B sales and a customer-focused approach.
• Knowledge of maintenance, repair, and operations products, including material handling, tools, safety equipment, fasteners, or related supplies.
• Strong communication, presentation, negotiation, time management, and territory planning skills.
• Proficiency with CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• At least an associate’s degree or equivalent in a related field; a bachelor’s degree is preferred.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of material handling and industrial maintenance.
