Discovery Immunology Research Scientist

Location: Seattle, WA, United States; on-site five days per week

Salary: $105,600–$158,400 per year, plus eligibility for an annual bonus and annual equity awards.

What you will do

• Design, execute, troubleshoot, and optimize experiments supporting immune mechanism research, target validation, and therapeutic development.
• Isolate, culture, and manipulate primary human immune cells and human cell lines.
• Interrogate immune cell phenotype and function using multicolor flow cytometry and Incucyte assays.
• Collect, analyze, and interpret experimental data while maintaining accurate laboratory records.
• Collaborate with discovery scientists and prepare data for internal reports and presentations.

Requirements

• Hands-on tissue culture experience with primary human immune cells and human cell lines.
• Strong understanding of immunology, particularly T-cell and B-cell biology.
• Experience designing and executing complex experiments in disease-relevant contexts.
• Experience with cell-based immunology assays, multicolor flow cytometry, Incucyte assays, and soluble-analyte measurement methods such as ELISA or ECLIA/MSD.
• Ph.D. with 0–3 years of relevant postdoctoral experience, or a master’s degree with 3+ years of relevant experience, or a bachelor’s degree with 6+ years of relevant experience in a related discipline.
• Ability to work on-site five days per week in Seattle.
