Location: Seattle, Washington; regular time at properties between Seattle, Portland, and Spokane. Hybrid role requiring time at the Seattle office, properties, and portfolio teams, with periodic travel within Washington and Oregon.
Salary: $135,000–$160,000 per year, plus annual performance bonus and profit sharing.

What you will do
- Build and continuously improve affordable housing compliance standards, controls, audits, procedures, and escalation systems.
- Provide senior expertise across LIHTC, HUD, certifications, recertifications, resident files, inspections, and regulatory requirements.
- Translate company initiatives into executable workflows for Regional Managers and property teams, monitoring exceptions and operating KPIs.
- Visit properties and work with site teams to resolve issues, improve accountability, and redesign recurring operational failures.
- Own the operating playbook for property and portfolio takeovers, coordinating operations, compliance, accounting, maintenance, leasing, technology, and support teams.
- Prepare pre-takeover readiness reviews, transition plans, post-takeover audits, reporting, staffing, vendor transitions, and resident communications.
Requirements
- Significant multifamily property management experience, including direct site-level experience as a Property Manager or equivalent.
- Experience as a Regional Manager or in another multi-site operating leadership role.
- Meaningful experience managing affordable housing communities.
- Strong working knowledge of LIHTC and HUD programs, affordable leasing compliance, file audits, certifications, inspections, and regulatory requirements.
- Track record of holding property teams accountable and improving operating performance.
- Ability to work between resident files, property visits, operating dashboards, and owner discussions while making decisions in a fast-changing environment.
Nice to have
- Affordable housing credentials such as HCCP, COS, TCS, CPO, or similar certifications.
- Experience with multiple affordable housing programs.
