Senior Accounting Manager (Robotics Manufacturing)

Location: Remote; Sunnyvale, California or Arizona

Base salary: $145,000, depending on experience; equity through stock options.

What you will do

• Lead the record-to-report function, including general ledger accounting, close management, journal entries, reconciliations, and financial reviews.
• Drive monthly, quarterly, and annual close activities for accurate, complete, and well-supported results.
• Review journal entries, flux analyses, supporting schedules, and internal management reporting packages.
• Supervise, coach, and develop the Payroll Supervisor and Senior Accountant.
• Support external reporting, quarterly reviews, annual audits, and auditor inquiries.
• Improve accounting policies, procedures, close checklists, reconciliations, controls, and reporting processes.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA preferred.
• 7+ years of progressive accounting experience, including close, reconciliations, audits, and financial reporting.
• People management experience supervising senior accountants, payroll, or other accounting staff.
• Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP, general ledger accounting, accruals, reconciliations, and internal controls.
• Strong analytical, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills in a deadline-driven environment.
• Experience with NetSuite, FloQast, or similar ERP, close management, and reconciliation tools is preferred.

• Experience in manufacturing, robotics, hardware, technology, or inventory-oriented environments.
• Public company, SOX, or audit firm experience.
