Purchasing Data Analytics Intern – NPD

What you will do

• Collect and clean purchasing data from internal systems such as MAPICS and Warehouse Databricks.
• Analyze supplier quotations, current prices, target costs, and cost differences for new product development projects.
• Identify missing or incorrect data and support cost-focused NPD projects.
• Create reports and dashboards covering cost gaps, quote status, and open actions.
• Provide clear purchasing data to NPD and Strategic Purchasing teams.
• Improve Excel files, Power BI reports, templates, and tracking tools.

Requirements

• Current Bachelor's or Master's student in Business, Data Analytics, Operations, Industrial Engineering, Economics, or a related field.
• Strong Excel skills and an understanding of data ETL processes.
• Effective written and spoken English communication is required.
• Detail-oriented, structured, analytical, proactive, and willing to learn.
• Comfortable collaborating with Buyers, NPD, Strategic Purchasing, and other teams.
• Interest in purchasing, cost analysis, data, and new product development.

Nice to have

• Experience with Power BI, Power Query, DAX, VBA/macros, or ETL processes.
• Knowledge of other European languages.
