Telemetry Operations Analyst (IoT)

Location: Rotterdam, Netherlands; hybrid working with 40% office, 40% home, and 20% flexible work. Working abroad is permitted with manager approval for up to 3 weeks per year, with a maximum of 2 consecutive weeks, within approved countries.

Salary: €83,000–€117,000 gross annual, including FlexBudget and 8% holiday allowance; a bonus or collective profit sharing may apply depending on the role.

hirify.global is expanding renewable energy assets and digital services through wind, solar, and battery assets connected to its IoT platform.

What you will do

• Monitor telemetry data quality and availability for renewable assets connected to the IoT platform.
• Identify, analyse, and investigate data quality issues, telemetry dropouts, and operational risks.
• Support incident triage, classification, and resolution for telemetry-related disruptions.
• Define data quality guidelines, operational procedures, and monitoring standards.
• Design dashboards, alerts, and reporting mechanisms for proactive monitoring and issue detection.
• Collaborate with asset managers, vendors, engineering teams, and trading stakeholders while supporting onboarding of new assets and continuous improvement initiatives.

Requirements

• HBO or WO level of thinking and working, preferably in Data, IT, Engineering, Business Information Management, or a related field.
• Experience with data analysis, operational process improvement, and stakeholder management.
• Experience with SQL and preferably Python.
• Experience with dashboarding and monitoring tools such as Power BI, Grafana, or similar technologies.
• Affinity with IoT, telemetry, operational data platforms, or industrial systems.
• Strong communication skills, a proactive mindset, and the ability to work across business and technical teams.

Nice to have

• Experience in renewable energy, asset operations, or energy markets.
• Dutch language skills.
