Purchasing/Storeroom Clerk (Manufacturing)

What you will do

• Maintain inventory levels for plant parts, supplies, tooling, lubricants, chemicals, and other production materials.
• Generate purchase orders and coordinate with internal and external suppliers.
• Manage raw material deliveries, receiving, processing, replenishment, and storage across storeroom and remote storage areas.
• Maintain reorder points and expedite critical parts and supplies to support production schedules.
• Use Microsoft Office and accounts payable/receivable processes to support cost control and inventory reporting.
• Coordinate environmental, inventory, and cost reporting during month-end activities.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required; an Associate degree is preferred.
• At least three years of experience in a similar role within a manufacturing environment.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
• Strong organizational and inventory management skills.
• Ability to work safely in a manufacturing plant and storeroom environment, including lifting up to 50 pounds overhead occasionally and performing extended periods of standing, walking, bending, climbing, kneeling, and squatting.
• Dependability, flexibility, and willingness to work overtime as needed.
