Global Study Leader (Clinical Operations)

Location: Remote/Home-Based in the United States, with eligibility tied to Carlsbad, CA; Palo Alto, CA; Atlanta, GA; or Philadelphia, PA

Salary: $140,000–$210,000 annual base pay for US-based candidates, plus potential bonus, equity, and benefits.

What you will do

• Lead the implementation, execution, and management of global Phase I–IV clinical trials.
• Develop trial strategies, track progress, and manage risks, mitigations, timelines, and budgets.
• Oversee cross-functional teams, external service providers, vendors, and trial-related meetings.
• Review and approve protocols, informed consent forms, monitoring plans, Clinical Study Reports, and other essential trial documents.
• Maintain accountability for the Trial Master File, trial tracking systems, documentation archiving, and audit or inspection readiness.
• Mentor Global Study Managers, Clinical Research Associates, and Global Study Associates while leading Clinical Trial Working Groups.

Requirements

• 7+ years of clinical research experience, including global trial management and portfolio-level oversight.
• At least 3 years of experience in clinical operations leadership roles.
• Strong knowledge of clinical trial processes, ICH-GCP, regulatory requirements, and study start-up planning.
• Experience with electronic clinical trial systems such as TMF and CTMS.
• Proven experience managing global, multicenter clinical trials in cross-functional environments.
• Bachelor’s degree, preferably in life sciences, healthcare, or a related field; an advanced degree is preferred.
