Accountant Intermediate - Close and Consolidation

What you will do

• Prepare and review monthly and quarterly consolidated P&L and balance sheet flux analysis reports in accordance with GAAP.
• Monitor the monthly consolidation process and reconcile intercompany accounts.
• Prepare and review journal entries, account reconciliations, and earnings-per-share calculations for 10-Q and 10-K disclosures.
• Support internal and external audits by coordinating information requests and ensuring timely documentation.
• Support SOX compliance, segregation of duties, financial reporting controls, and adherence to accounting policies.
• Research accounting matters, collaborate with IT on system issues and enhancements, and participate in ad hoc projects.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.
• At least 2 years of relevant accounting experience.
• Flexibility to manage multiple projects and changing priorities.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles, advanced problem-solving skills, and detail orientation.
• Strong verbal and written communication and relationship-building skills.

Nice to have

• CPA certification or CPA candidacy.
• Advanced Microsoft Office knowledge, especially Excel.
• Oracle General Ledger and OneStream Financial Reporting experience.
• Consolidation knowledge and experience in financial services or a related field.
