Game Operations - Trading Analyst (Sports Trading)

Location: Atlanta, Georgia preferred; remote candidates accepted from anywhere in the U.S. U.S. work authorization is required.

Salary: $60,000–$70,000 per year

What you will do

• Maintain accurate pre-game and in-game player projections across NFL, NBA, MLB, NHL, college basketball, college football, and other markets.
• Monitor projections throughout the day and track information affecting player performance and markets.
• Manage risk through modeling and quantitative analysis.
• Analyze member play patterns and adjust internal processes accordingly.
• Collaborate with sport owners to implement market strategies, best practices, and operating procedures.
• Help establish standard operating procedures for game operations tasks.

Requirements

• Ability to analyze multiple information streams and make thoughtful decisions in a highly time-sensitive environment.
• Strong mathematical, analytical, communication, organization, and time-management skills.
• Understanding of DFS and sports gaming, including major sports players, teams, matchups, and their impact on projections.
• Ability to apply standard operating procedures across sports and adapt to different trading philosophies.
• Availability to work nights and weekends according to the sports schedule.
• Must be authorized to work for any employer in the U.S.; visa sponsorship is not available.

Nice to have

• Bachelor’s degree in statistics, computer science, engineering, analytics, finance, accounting, or a related field.
• One to three years of experience working in or playing Daily Fantasy Sports or sports gaming.
