Location: Decatur, Alabama, USA; onsite role

Salary: $39.35–$44.90 per hour, with opportunities for pay progression.

What you will do

  • Install, set up, troubleshoot, service, and modify electrical and instrumentation equipment and systems.
  • Service plant finished-product winders and perform preventive maintenance and calibration.
  • Apply industry best practices, applicable codes and regulations, and plant standards.
  • Collaborate with operators, engineers, maintenance technicians, and supervisors.
  • Provide design input and feedback for new or modified equipment and systems.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED required; a two-year or higher technical degree is preferred.
  • Journeyman or equivalent instrument technician or electrician qualification, with proficiency in both instrumentation and electrical work.
  • At least five years of experience in a manufacturing or production environment preferred; continuous chemical processing experience is also preferred.
  • Ability to interpret manufacturer manuals, electrical codes, blueprints, specifications, and other technical documentation.
  • Eligible candidates must be U.S. citizens, U.S. nationals, lawful permanent residents, qualifying temporary residents, refugees, or individuals granted asylum.
