DevOps Engineer (TS/SCI CI Clearance Required) (AWS/CI/CD): Deploying and sustaining secure microservices through a Linux-based DevSecOps environment with an accent on AWS networking, GitLab CI/CD, and containerized workloads. Focus on designing resilient cloud architectures, troubleshooting VPC connectivity, automating deployments, and remediating security findings for mission-critical systems.
Location: Chantilly, Alexandria, Gaithersburg, or Centerville, Virginia; or St. Louis, Missouri, United States. The role requires an active TS/SCI clearance and U.S. citizenship.

What you will do
- Deploy and sustain microservices through a DevSecOps pipeline in a Linux-based, multi-tenant environment.
- Design, implement, and secure AWS virtual networks, including VPC architecture and connectivity.
- Develop and maintain GitLab CI/CD pipeline code for reliable delivery.
- Configure, troubleshoot, and deploy Docker containers for microservice workloads.
- Support developer deployments and testing, review Git code, and provide technical guidance.
- Document DevOps processes and remediate vulnerabilities identified through scans and audits.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field with 8+ years of experience, or a master’s degree with 6+ years of relevant experience.
- Active TS/SCI clearance and U.S. citizenship are required.
- DoD 8570 IAT Level II certification, such as Security+, or the ability to obtain it within 60 days of starting.
- Experience developing and managing CI/CD pipelines, including GitLab functionality, error codes, and scripting.
- Experience with AWS services and architectures, including CloudFormation, S3, ECS, EKS, Lambda, API Gateway, load balancing, and autoscaling.
- Understanding of DevSecOps, software development and sustainment practices, code reviews, development testing, Jira, and Confluence.
Nice to have
- Production experience with GitLab CI/CD.
- Experience with AWS Lambda, AWS ECS, and Docker containers at scale.
- AWS or Linux certifications.
- Experience with ArcGIS or other geospatial technologies.
