Assembly Engineer (Senior/Staff)

Location: Bayan Lepas, Malaysia; onsite work required

What you will do

• Oversee backend semiconductor manufacturing processes and activities at OSAT facilities.
• Act as the primary technical interface between hirify.global and OSAT partners.
• Drive yield, quality, delivery, cost, and KPI improvement initiatives with OSATs.
• Implement process and material changes and run qualification activities.
• Support NPI package and product releases and ensure smooth transitions to production.
• Monitor OSAT performance, investigate issues, and coordinate failure analysis and root-cause correction with OSATs and QA.

Requirements

• Degree in engineering, science, or mathematics.
• At least 3 years of experience in a semiconductor manufacturing environment.
• Experience in assembly, NPI, or Six Sigma is advantageous.
• Knowledge of project or program management is beneficial.
