Senior Consultant, Hedge Fund Accounting

What you will do

• Prepare and review operating expenses, month-end close packs, NAVs, and related accounting records for hedge fund clients.
• Allocate profit and loss across investor share classes and series, and calculate management and performance fees.
• Prepare and review annual financial statements and coordinate directly with external auditors.
• Prepare and review monthly and quarterly regulatory reporting for applicable funds, including MMIFs, FVCs, and SPVs.
• Support fund launches, migrations, regulatory initiatives, and other client projects with shared service teams.
• Work with clients and Investor Services teams to understand fund activity and ensure timely, accurate investor statements and audit responses.

Requirements

• Qualified Accountant, such as ACA or ACCA, or currently working toward an equivalent qualification.
• Knowledge of hedge funds and alternative investment structures.
• Knowledge of financial reporting, including US GAAP and IFRS financial statements and footnote disclosures.
• Financial analysis skills and client service experience.
• Ability to work from Limerick, Ireland.
