Medical Assistant (Healthcare)

Location: Canton, Ohio (Must be able to travel to patient homes using a personal vehicle)

Salary: $24 – $28 per hour

What you will do

• Travel to patient homes to provide preventative care and diagnostic services.
• Perform phlebotomy, specimen collection, and various screenings including diabetic foot exams and retina imaging.
• Record data using digital stethoscopes and perform ECGs.
• Manage sample labeling and coordinate drop-offs to labs or shipping facilities.
• Maintain accurate charting and care coordination using mobile devices and HIPAA-secure messaging.

Requirements

• Valid Driver’s License and reliable personal vehicle required.
• State-required licensure, certification, or proof of training.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Ability to physically navigate patient homes, including climbing stairs and carrying up to 20 pounds.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Must pass national background and DMV checks.
