TL;DR

Location: Mississauga, Ontario, Canada; hybrid work mode with occasional travel of approximately 10–20% for conferences and client visits.

Expected compensation: CAD 85,000–95,000 per year, depending on experience, skills, and qualifications.

What you will do

  • Drive tactical execution of AI-powered digital pathology algorithm products for the Digital Pathology Platform.
  • Translate product strategy into scientific requirements, product specifications, user stories, acceptance criteria, and software requirements documentation.
  • Act as the customer voice throughout the product lifecycle and collaborate with customers, clinical stakeholders, engineering, data science, design, and business teams.
  • Maintain product, market, competitive, and digital pathology knowledge to guide priorities and evolving customer needs.
  • Support User Acceptance Testing and answer day-to-day questions from engineers, data scientists, and designers.
  • Prepare release notes and update business owners on features included in each release.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Biomedical Engineering, Computational Biology, or an equivalent field.
  • At least 5 years of experience in Technical Product Management within healthcare services, or analogous experience managing requirements for AI/ML-based computer vision systems.
  • Experience with Agile methodologies, including Scrum and Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe).
  • Demonstrated product management skills covering prioritization, quality, conflict, and risk management.
  • Canadian work experience is not required.

Nice to have

  • Advanced degree in Bioinformatics, Computational Sciences, Data Science, Biology, Chemistry, or an equivalent field.
  • Understanding of digital pathology and associated technologies.
  • Experience in regulated industries such as Medical Devices, Digital Health, or Life Sciences.
  • Understanding of Health Canada and FDA regulations and guidelines.
