Associate Director, Label Analytics - Global Digital Business (Music Analytics)

What you will do

• Lead analytics for Sony Music Nashville and Provident Label Group, influencing strategic decisions for label executives.
• Evaluate track, album, and artist performance using consumer, social, chart, audience, and streaming data.
• Handle ad-hoc analytics requests covering releases, artist audiences, commercial strategies, and competitive campaigns.
• Produce and present recurring daily and weekly analyses, including release forecasts, consumption reports, industry trends, and artist audience reports.
• Develop reports, dashboards, tools, and methodologies, including transitions to new platforms and technology partners.
• Maintain data integrity and report accuracy, resolve technical data issues with technology teams, and promote data education across the labels.

Requirements

• At least 7 years of experience working with data.
• Expertise with relational databases and SQL; Python experience is preferred.
• Experience with Tableau, Streamlit, or Sigma for data visualization.
• Advanced knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint.
• Strong analytical, quantitative, communication, presentation, and problem-solving skills.
• Collaborative customer-service mindset and passion for music.

• Experience with Alteryx.
• Python experience.
