Structural Project Manager

What you will do

• Manage structural projects from conceptual design through final design and delivery.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary teams, consultants, agencies, clients, and other stakeholders.
• Oversee construction-phase services, including site visits, shop drawing reviews, and RFI responses.
• Establish project scopes, schedules, budgets, resources, and design approaches.
• Prepare technical reports, proposals, fee estimates, and client communications.
• Supervise and mentor engineering and support staff while overseeing structural analysis and QA/QC.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license required.
• At least 8 years of experience in structural design and plan production.
• Experience with land development or public works projects, including bridges, water and wastewater facilities, and miscellaneous structures.
• Proficiency with structural analysis software such as RISA, STAAD, and/or MIDAS.
• Ability to manage contracts, financial tracking, quality assurance, change management, and client relationships.

Nice to have

• Working knowledge of MicroStation.
• PMP certification, Envision certification, or a master’s degree.
