Financial Solutions Origination Manager

Location: London, United Kingdom; hybrid work with an expectation of being in the office at least three days per week.

Salary: GBP 90,000–134,000 per year for a full-time role, plus potential performance-based annual bonus and benefits.

What you will do

• Identify and originate financial reinsurance solutions covering capital, accounting, liquidity, and M&A-related transactions for UK and Irish clients.
• Own and manage a dedicated portfolio of senior client relationships.
• Analyse client needs and provide strategic support to Senior Client Managers.
• Lead transactions from sale through delivery and ensure high-quality client service.
• Collaborate with internal functions to develop innovative, compliant, and commercially sound solutions.
• Develop business plans, budgets, marketing objectives, and portfolio strategies while contributing to the UK & Ireland Transactions Cross-Functional Team.

Requirements

• Degree in finance, economics, or mathematics with substantial relevant experience in financial management solution delivery.
• Extensive experience in life reinsurance, wholesale banking, or a related field, including structured financial solutions.
• Knowledge of IFRS 17, Solvency II, Solvency UK, and/or economic capital models, with the ability to analyse asset and liability risks, capital positions, and financial metrics.
• Experience developing senior client relationships, including engagement with CFO-level stakeholders and above.
• Strong knowledge of the UK and Irish insurance markets, including their commercial and technical dynamics.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to translate complex technical information for diverse audiences.
