Senior Full Stack Engineer (Robotics)

Location: Full-time, on-site at Sunnyvale HQ, California, United States. No relocation provided.

Base salary: $185,000–$250,000 per year, depending on experience. Equity through stock options.

What you will do

• Design and build scalable RESTful and GraphQL APIs for live media pipelines, alert management, reporting, investigation workflows, and 3D digital twin data feeds.
• Develop responsive and accessible Signals interfaces, including real-time dashboards, alert management views, investigation workspaces, and multi-stream video review with timeline scrubbing and frame navigation.
• Architect the 3D digital twin layer using Three.js, Babylon.js, Cesium, WebGL, and real-time sensor and telemetry data.
• Build live and recorded media integrations using WebRTC, RTSP, HLS, MP4, AWS S3, Glacier, and equivalent cloud services.
• Integrate network camera APIs and device controls, and contribute to ASR robot platform software across the K1, K1Hv2, H1, K5, and K7 fleet.
• Maintain code quality through peer reviews, automated testing, CI/CD, and AI-assisted development while collaborating with robotics, AI/ML, audio/video, DevOps, and UI/UX teams.

Requirements

• 7–10 years of full stack software engineering experience focused on production-grade web applications.
• Expert proficiency in React, Redux, Node.js, ES6/TypeScript, HTML5, and CSS3, including component-based design systems and WCAG AA accessibility standards.
• Strong backend experience with Python, Java, or Node.js; proficiency with Django, Flask, Rails, Express, or an equivalent web framework; and RESTful/GraphQL API design.
• Hands-on experience with WebRTC, RTSP, HLS, and MP4, including frontend video players with timeline scrubbing, frame navigation, and event markers.
• Experience building 3D or 2D interactive digital twin interfaces with Three.js, Babylon.js, Cesium, or WebGL, including real-time sensor and telemetry integration.
• Experience with AWS S3, SQS, DocumentDB, Kinesis, or equivalent cloud-native media and data pipeline services.
• Proficiency with SQL and NoSQL databases such as MySQL, MongoDB, or Amazon DocumentDB, including media indexing and retrieval patterns.
• BS in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.

Nice to have

• Experience with enterprise SaaS, security operations, or IoT-connected platforms.
• Familiarity with network camera APIs and protocols such as Axis VAPIX and ONVIF.
• Experience with FedRAMP compliance or U.S. Government security protocols.
