Senior Fullstack Engineer (Robotics)

Location: Full-time, on-site at Sunnyvale HQ, California, United States. No relocation provided.

Base salary: $185,000–$250,000 per year. Equity through stock options.

What you will do

• Design and build scalable RESTful and GraphQL APIs for media pipelines, alerts, reporting, investigations, and 3D digital twin data.
• Develop responsive and accessible Signals web interfaces, including real-time dashboards, investigation workspaces, and multi-stream video review.
• Architect 3D digital twin visualizations with real-time robot state, sensor, and telemetry synchronization using Three.js, Babylon.js, Cesium, or WebGL.
• Build live and recorded media integrations with WebRTC, RTSP, HLS, MP4, AWS S3, and related cloud services.
• Develop media indexing, retrieval, playback logging, archival, and network camera integrations.
• Contribute to ASR robot platform software, code quality, automated testing, CI/CD, and architectural decisions with robotics, AI/ML, audio/video, DevOps, and UI/UX teams.

Requirements

• 7–10 years of full stack software engineering experience building production-grade web applications.
• Expert proficiency in React, Redux, Node.js, ES6/TypeScript, HTML5, CSS3, component-based design systems, and WCAG AA accessibility.
• Strong backend experience with Python, Java, or Node.js, plus a major web framework and RESTful/GraphQL API design.
• Hands-on experience with WebRTC, RTSP, HLS, MP4, frontend video players, timeline scrubbing, frame navigation, and event markers.
• Experience with interactive 3D or 2D digital twin interfaces, real-time telemetry integration, AWS media and data services, and SQL/NoSQL databases.
• BS in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.

Nice to have

• Experience with enterprise SaaS, security operations, or IoT-connected platforms.
• Familiarity with Axis VAPIX, ONVIF, or equivalent network camera APIs and protocols.
• Experience with FedRAMP compliance or U.S. Government security protocols.
