Senior Fullstack Software Engineer, Enterprise Foundation

Location: Hybrid in San Francisco, California, or Vancouver, Canada

Salary: $167,000–$230,000 annual base salary for roles in California; other listed US ranges are $150,000–$207,000 in Colorado and Washington, and $167,000–$230,000 in New York City.

What you will do

• Turn enterprise customer needs into well-scoped engineering solutions with Product Management and Design.
• Own projects end to end, including design, rollout, migration, and ongoing operation.
• Design and build reliable services, APIs, microservices, and user-facing applications with strong security and correctness.
• Support on-call operations, incident response, system reliability, performance optimization, and scaling.
• Lead high-impact projects, contribute to technical direction, and mentor other engineers.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience building scalable backends and interactive user-facing applications.
• Experience with application backends, microservices, high-throughput systems, and the full web application stack.
• Experience or strong interest in authentication, authorization, permissions models, and enterprise platform capabilities.
• Experience safely migrating and evolving critical systems with minimal customer impact.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automated testing, plus strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Familiarity with React, TypeScript, Python, NestJS, and Temporal.

Nice to have

• Interest or experience in technical leadership of an engineering team.
• Experience synthesizing customer input and architectural knowledge to create engineering impact.
