Packaging Engineer (RV/Marine)

Location: Wisconsin, United States. Local travel to packaging suppliers may be required; no overnight travel is anticipated.

What you will do

• Lead packaging development and improvement projects for new product development and legacy aftermarket products.
• Design, test, and develop packaging structures and distribution solutions with cross-functional teams.
• Investigate production issues, determine root causes, and implement packaging and process improvements.
• Work with vendors on packaging components and materials, including supplier quality standards and audits.
• Maintain compliant documentation, including ISTA test results and packaging weight and dimensional data.
• Implement engineering changes with attention to quality, process, and cost.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
• At least 1 year of experience in a related field.
• Experience with Microsoft Office and CAD software certification.
• Experience with Inventor or SolidWorks and maintaining data libraries with photographs.
• Ability to work cross-functionally and build effective internal and external relationships.
• Must be authorized to work for any employer in the United States; visa sponsorship is not available now or in the future.
