Litigation Paralegal Supervisor (AI)

Location: Based in Los Angeles (preferred), Century City, Orange County, San Francisco, or Palo Alto, California

Annual compensation: $180,000–$210,000

What you will do

• Oversee a department of 19+ litigation paralegals across California offices.
• Act as a liaison between attorneys, partners, and paralegals while coordinating case and project assignments.
• Monitor workloads, work quality, billable hours, time, and attendance.
• Identify staffing needs and support the recruitment, onboarding, training, and performance evaluation of paralegals.
• Provide litigation support as needed and ensure projects and deadlines are met.
• Lead adoption of firm-approved AI tools, including prompt engineering training, workflow pilots, quality control, and collaboration with AI Institute, Knowledge Management, and Legal Technology teams.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• 7+ years of experience as a litigation paralegal in a major law firm.
• Experience organizing complex projects and supervising or directing others.
• Strong organizational, analytical, communication, judgment, and multitasking skills.
• Working knowledge of prompt engineering and AI tools used in legal workflows, with the ability to train others.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and document management systems.

• Supervisory or team leadership experience.
• Trial experience.
