Survey Project Manager

Location: Austin, Texas, United States; Monday–Friday, 8am–5pm, with overtime as needed

What you will do

• Plan, direct, and coordinate the local survey department.
• Guide Survey Technicians and Field Crews.
• Prepare project proposals, timelines, and budgets, and manage invoicing and financial performance.
• Review drawings, legal descriptions, and other deliverables for quality and enforce QA/QC standards.
• Manage, train, and mentor survey department members.
• Build professional relationships and resolve complex survey issues with clients, stakeholders, and internal teams.

Requirements

• Professional Land Surveyor (PLS) registration in the state of employment.
• At least 12 years of experience in land surveying.
• Experience prioritizing work and making independent decisions in a fast-paced production environment.
• Strong leadership, performance management, communication, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
