Lead Technical Program Manager (Data Analytics)

Location: Santa Monica/Los Angeles, California, United States; onsite Monday through Thursday

Salary: $114,080–$211,048 annual base pay, plus potential incentive compensation.

What you will do

• Own planning and delivery across data activation, analytics engineering, and data platform integration initiatives.
• Lead cross-functional programs spanning Studios, Analytics, Finance, Marketing Technology, product, and engineering teams.
• Shape roadmaps, sequence work, align capacity, and manage milestones, risks, trade-offs, releases, migrations, and operational readiness.
• Use SQL and technical fluency in data flows, schemas, APIs, models, and system integrations to validate outputs and troubleshoot issues.
• Establish scalable mechanisms for intake, prioritization, status reporting, documentation, service ownership, and governance.
• Track outcomes such as adoption, data quality, reliability, timeliness, and delivery predictability, using retrospectives to improve collaboration.

Requirements

• 7+ years of technical program, product, or project management experience with data, software, platform, or infrastructure engineering teams.
• Working proficiency with SQL and practical understanding of ingestion, transformation, orchestration, batch and streaming pipelines, APIs, metrics layers, and downstream activation.
• Experience leading complex cross-functional programs across multiple teams while managing ambiguity and shifting priorities.
• Strong written and verbal communication, prioritization, time management, and follow-through.
• Experience with Jira, Confluence, Slack, M365, or similar tools and Scrum, Kanban, or hybrid delivery models.
• AI fluency and a bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.

Nice to have

• Experience with Git, lakehouse or cloud data warehouses, dbt, Airflow, Spark, Kafka, data observability, catalogs, or governance platforms.
• Experience with data activation and Marketing Technology ecosystems, customer data platforms, reverse ETL, identity resolution, experimentation, or conversion APIs.
• Finance, enterprise reporting, privacy-sensitive workflows, distributed multi-studio environments, portfolio leadership, or mentoring experience.
• PMP, Certified Scrum Master, PRINCE2, or similar certification.
