Staff Technical Program Manager - AI Resources

Base pay: $130,000–$150,000 annually

What you will do

• Organize, sequence, and prioritize work across AI training clusters, data processing pipelines, data operations, and engineering groups.
• Allocate GPU resources across concurrent model-training projects and coordinate critical workloads.
• Oversee data pipelines that transform real-world robot experience into training and control data for AI models.
• Manage external vendors supporting data annotation and QA at scale, as well as data procurement and contract negotiations.
• Collaborate with AI engineering leadership and stakeholders to create resourcing objectives, roadmaps, risk mitigations, and contingency plans.
• Improve resource allocation processes, utilization tracking, and program delivery across internal AI tools and infrastructure teams.

Requirements

• BS or higher in engineering or a related technical field, or equivalent work experience.
• At least 2 years of program management experience managing multiple programs and schedules.
• Experience coordinating engineering and data teams around shared, constrained resources such as GPU or compute clusters and data pipelines.
• Experience building sustainable processes in cross-functional groups.
• Strong communication, leadership, interpersonal, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience with project management tools and methodologies, including Google Suite and JIRA/Atlassian products.

Nice to have

• Direct experience managing GPU or training cluster resource allocation.
• Experience managing data annotation or QA vendors for ML pipelines.
• Broad technical knowledge of AI/ML model training workflows, preferably in robotics.
