What you will do

• Develop project plans, engineering calculations, specifications, cost estimates, and construction documents for commercial, residential, and mixed-use land development projects.
• Evaluate grading, drainage, alignments, utility layouts, right-of-way considerations, and other site constraints.
• Design site development plans using AutoCAD Civil 3D and other engineering tools.
• Prepare technical reports, engineering studies, and project documentation.
• Provide guidance and quality review for engineering technicians and junior staff.
• Coordinate with project managers, clients, municipalities, and regulatory agencies on permitting and project delivery.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline from an ABET-accredited program.
• Engineer-in-Training (EIT/EI) certification.
• At least 2 years of civil engineering experience in commercial, residential, or site development projects.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD Civil 3D and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Working knowledge of land development design principles, permitting processes, and applicable regulations.
• Strong analytical, technical, problem-solving, written, and verbal communication skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
