Engineer-In-Training - Land Development (Civil Engineering)

What you will do

• Design land development and public works projects, including site civil infrastructure.
• Prepare engineering reports, civil construction plans, and permitting submittals.
• Perform stormwater analysis, site drainage design, and hydrologic/hydraulic modeling.
• Support street, drainage, and utility design assignments.
• Collaborate within small to mid-sized and multidisciplinary design teams.
• Provide land development engineering services for Texas projects.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, environmental engineering, or a related engineering discipline.
• EIT certification or the ability to obtain it within one year of employment.
• Four years of relevant land development engineering experience.
• Experience with commercial, residential, and mixed-use private-sector development.
• Knowledge of stormwater analysis, site drainage, and civil design standards.
• Experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D, StormCAD, Hydraflow Express, Bentley storm suites, and other hydrologic/hydraulic modeling tools; a valid driver’s license and clean driving record are required.

Nice to have

• Central Texas market experience, especially in the San Antonio and Austin regions.
• Familiarity with local and state permitting agencies and development regulations.
• Experience with private site development and public works projects.
