TL;DR
Management Analyst (FOIA): Analyzing organizational processes, statistical data, and information-access cases for the Department of State's Consular Affairs operations with an accent on FOIA and Privacy Act reviews, data management, and crisis-support reporting. What you will do

  • Research, analyze, manage, and report on operational, statistical, financial, and communications data for Consular Affairs.
  • Build and maintain spreadsheets, Access databases, case records, graphs, and recurring monthly and quarterly reports.
  • Analyze collection methods and recommend practical improvements that increase efficiency and streamline processes.
  • Manage website, intranet, SharePoint, call-center, and resource-document content while coordinating with agency stakeholders.
  • Support crisis-management activities, emergency inquiries, public-service initiatives, program planning, and after-hours emergency response.
  • Manage FOIA and Privacy Act cases, review responsive records, make redaction and release determinations, and prepare related correspondence.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree.
  • Active Secret clearance.
  • At least three years of office-environment experience.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office products, including Word, PowerPoint, Excel, SharePoint, Outlook, and Access.
  • Ability to prepare accurate letters, memorandums, cables, speeches, briefing papers, and other formal documents.
  • Strong organizational, communication, analytical, and customer-service skills, with discretion when handling confidential information.
