Technology Communications Specialist (Microsoft 365)

What you will do

• Produce the monthly technology newsletter, including content planning, writing, distribution, and performance analysis.
• Manage the editorial calendar and coordinate communications around project milestones, feature releases, and educational content.
• Write project announcements, rollout communications, feature updates, operational advisories, and change management messaging.
• Develop technology training videos, demos, scripts, intranet content, templates, graphics, and branded communication assets.
• Manage distribution through Microsoft Teams, Viva Engage, email, and the intranet.
• Advise IT stakeholders, project managers, trainers, and subject matter experts on messaging, timing, channel selection, reviews, and approvals.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in communications, journalism, English, marketing, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
• At least three years of experience in corporate communications, internal communications, or a related role.
• Exceptional writing and editing skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
• Experience with editorial calendars, multiple communication workstreams, light design, accessibility, and communication analytics.
• Expertise in Microsoft 365, particularly Teams, SharePoint, Viva Engage, Microsoft Amplify, and Microsoft Stream.
• Experience with Camtasia or similar video editing tools, Canva, Articulate Rise or similar e-learning tools, and Synthesia or similar AI video platforms.

Nice to have

• Experience in a legal, professional services, or complex enterprise environment.
• Experience creating podcasts, AI-generated video, interactive learning content, or other innovative communication formats.
