Electrical Assembly & Wiring 2nd Shift (Switchgear)

Location: Oshkosh, Wisconsin, United States; onsite, 2nd shift

What you will do

• Assemble electrical and electromechanical systems, frameworks, and enclosures for switchgear manufacturing.
• Perform point-to-point wiring using wiring prints, schematics, specification sheets, and bills of material.
• Measure, cut, route, label, and terminate wires, and install terminal blocks, breakers, relays, control devices, and bus components.
• Review work orders and diagrams, identify materials, and adjust, repair, or replace components to resolve defects.
• Mark and tag assemblies, prepare finished products for shipment, and assist with loading or moving completed assemblies.
• Maintain tools and workstations, follow safety procedures and PPE requirements, and support quality and continuous improvement efforts.

Requirements

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent experience.
• Ability to use hand tools such as screwdrivers, crimpers, wire cutters, and tape measures.
• Ability to read and interpret wiring diagrams, schematics, and work instructions is preferred.
• Good hand-eye coordination, manual dexterity, accuracy, attention to detail, and basic problem-solving skills.
• Ability to stand for extended periods, perform repetitive tasks, and lift, push, or pull materials within job requirements.
• Ability to work in a manufacturing environment with noise, electrical equipment, and moving machinery.
