2nd Shift Assembler (Contract Position)

Location: Duluth, Georgia, United States; onsite manufacturing role. Training is required on the first shift from Monday through Friday, 6:00am–2:30pm, followed by the second shift from Monday through Friday, 2:00pm–10:30pm.

What you will do

• Assemble, test, and package industrial precision dispensing equipment in accordance with quality, productivity, and safety requirements.
• Follow standard work, process documentation, and quality procedures.
• Use hand tools, general power tools, calibrated power tools, reference drawings, and bills of material.
• Use SAP and computers to access drawings and generate production-related documents.
• Report product failures to the manufacturing engineer or supervisor.
• Rotate between work areas and cross-train as needed to respond to changing customer requirements.

Requirements

• At least 6 months of experience in an industrial or manufacturing assembly position.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Ability to use hardware tools and understand work instructions, procedures, and technical documents.
• Ability to learn new job-related information, adapt to changing assignments, and work collaboratively.
• Must be comfortable with a contract position and first-shift training before moving to the second shift.

Nice to have

• One year of wiring experience.
• Problem-solving skills and an interest in continuous process improvement.
