Urgent Care Veterinarian

Location: Hanover, Massachusetts, US; on-site. Must reliably commute or relocate before starting work.

Salary: $120,000–$140,000 annual

hirify.global is hiring for a brand-new small-business urgent care center providing veterinary care for dogs and cats in Southeastern Massachusetts.

What you will do

• Perform physical examinations, diagnose and treat diseases, and provide preventive care.
• Develop problem lists, differential diagnoses, diagnostic plans, and treatments using a problem-based approach.
• Perform anesthesia and routine surgeries, including spays, neuters, minor mass removals, wound repairs, dental procedures, and treatment of urethral obstructions.
• Stabilize critical patients and create treatment plans for outpatient hospitalization.
• Coordinate overnight transfers and communicate with referral hospitals to maintain continuity of care.
• Document patient observations, diagnostics, treatments, medications, and client communications thoroughly.

Requirements

• Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from an AVMA-accredited veterinary school or equivalent.
• Current DEA license and Massachusetts Controlled Substance License, or ability to obtain both by the start date.
• Proficiency in urgent care stabilization, soft-tissue surgery, and veterinary dentistry.
• Strong communication skills, a positive attitude, and ability to collaborate in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to frequently stand, walk, kneel, hear, and see, and safely lift and move animal patients weighing up to 25 lbs unassisted.
• Must work on-site in Hanover, Massachusetts, with 50% weekend availability.
