Bilingual (Spanish/English) Virtual Urgent Care/Acute Care Advanced Practice Provider (NP or PA)

Location: Remote USA; must be located within one of the contiguous 50 states. Working hours are 11am–9pm EST, with four 10-hour shifts per week and one weekend shift per month. Weekend on-call coverage may be required in certain geographies.

Salary: $120,000–$155,000 annual base salary, plus a performance-based bonus of $10,000–$20,000; total compensation range of $130,000–$170,000.

What you will do

• Provide virtual Care OnDemand visits for acute illnesses, including evaluation, diagnosis, treatment, and medication prescribing.
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests and establish collaborative care plans addressing clinical, social, home health, and durable medical equipment needs.
• Coordinate care with primary care providers, specialists, pharmacy, nursing, social work, families, and caregivers.
• Use the electronic health information system for virtual visits and provide feedback to improve its interface.
• Support weekend clinical nurse triage coverage in certain geographies.
• Contribute to new clinical programs and innovative virtual care practices as service needs evolve.

Requirements

• At least three years of experience as an Advanced Practice Provider, preferably in acute care, urgent care, emergency medicine, primary care, or internal medicine with significant acute management.
• Bilingual Spanish/English proficiency is required.
• Active, unrestricted RN and APRN licenses for Nurse Practitioners, or an active Physician Assistant license for Physician Assistants.
• Licensure and certification must be in good standing, with the ability to obtain licenses in requested states within 90 days of signing the offer letter and obtain additional state licenses as needed.
• Must be willing to work four 10-hour shifts per week, including one weekend shift per month, from 11am–9pm EST.
• Adaptability, willingness to learn, flexibility in scope of practice, and comfort working in a fast-paced changing environment.

Nice to have

• Experience in primary care, internal medicine, urgent care, emergency medicine, or geriatrics.
• Experience delivering visits through telehealth video platforms.
• Experience managing CHF exacerbations, diabetic emergencies, COPD exacerbations, and hypertensive emergencies.
