Consultant, Private Equity Accounting

What you will do

• Administer a portfolio of private equity funds and deliver high-quality service to assigned clients.
• Prepare interim and annual financial statements, including consolidated statements for complex fund structures and listed entities.
• Act as a key contact for clients and external auditors, managing audit queries and requests.
• Prepare regulatory, statutory, board, and investor reporting, including Central Bank, CSO, and compliance returns.
• Calculate and deliver accurate NAVs, control operating expense payments, and meet service-level and regulatory deadlines.
• Support fund inception activities, operating model documentation, legal and compliance completion, and wider BAU operations.

Requirements

• Recognised professional accounting qualification preferred, with relevant post-qualification experience.
• Strong technical knowledge of Irish/UK GAAP, US GAAP, and IFRS.
• Working knowledge of the Irish regulatory and tax framework for fund accounting and financial reporting.
• Experience in private equity fund administration or the ability and willingness to develop specialist expertise quickly.
• Strong understanding of debits and credits, accuracy, ownership, attention to detail, and client focus.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment while maintaining quality.
