What you will do

• Provide bioanalytical support for in-house pharmacokinetic and non-GLP safety toxicokinetic studies.
• Develop and qualify bioanalytical methods for drug, metabolite, and endogenous biomarker analysis.
• Independently develop, operate, troubleshoot, and maintain LC-MS/MS systems for small-molecule quantitation.
• Conduct in vitro stability assays and metabolic identification using LC-QTOF MS/MS, accurate-mass analysis, and fragment interpretation.
• Analyze biological samples from PK, PK/PD, efficacy, distribution, metabolism, and toxicology studies.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and manage CRO projects to deliver high-quality data on schedule.

Requirements

• BS or master's degree with at least four years of discovery-setting experience in a pharmaceutical or biotechnology company.
• Broad experience developing bioanalytical assays and analyzing small-molecule drug candidates in diverse biological matrices using LC-MS/MS.
• Experience with AB SCIEX mass spectrometry software and SCIEX LC-MS/MS systems.
• Experience with H/UPLC, mass spectrometry, PK analysis software such as Phoenix, and scientific equipment troubleshooting.
• Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills for collaboration with internal and external partners.
• Ability to work onsite in Brisbane, California.
