Angular Developer (Java Backend)

Location: 100% remote within the United States. Applicants must be U.S. citizens, Green Card holders, EAD holders, or candidates eligible for an H-1B transfer. New H-1B visa petitions cannot be sponsored.

Salary: $120,000–$180,000 annually.

What you will do

• Design, develop, and maintain enterprise-grade single-page applications using Angular and TypeScript.
• Build reusable UI components, shared libraries, modular front-end architectures, dashboards, reporting modules, and data visualizations.
• Integrate Angular applications with Java Spring Boot REST APIs, GraphQL services, and enterprise middleware.
• Implement secure authentication and authorization with OAuth2, OpenID Connect, JWT, Keycloak, Okta, or Azure Active Directory.
• Improve application performance, browser compatibility, accessibility, and responsive behavior across desktop, tablet, and mobile browsers.
• Collaborate with UX designers, Java developers, architects, DevOps engineers, QA teams, and product owners on architecture, testing, code reviews, Agile planning, and CI/CD deployments.

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional front-end software development experience and 4+ years of hands-on Angular development for enterprise applications.
• Strong proficiency in Angular 14+, TypeScript, JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, and SCSS.
• Experience with RxJS, Observables, Reactive Forms, Angular Signals, asynchronous programming, and Angular architecture fundamentals.
• Experience integrating Angular with Java Spring Boot REST APIs and GraphQL; familiarity with Spring MVC, Spring Security, Spring Data JPA, and microservices.
• Experience with authentication, UI component libraries, state management using NgRx, Akita, or Component Store, Git, build tools, and CI/CD platforms.
• Experience with debugging, browser profiling, performance optimization, automated testing, and Agile Scrum development.

Nice to have

• Experience with Spring Cloud, API Gateway, Eureka, Config Server, distributed systems, or Micro Frontend architecture.
• Knowledge of PWA, offline-first development, WebSockets, STOMP, Kafka, or server-sent events.
• Familiarity with AWS, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud Platform, Docker, Kubernetes, or OpenShift.
• Experience with Jasmine, Karma, Cypress, Playwright, Selenium, OpenAPI, GraphQL, or enterprise design systems.
