Salary: $45–$50 per hour

is working with a manufacturing client to identify a CNC programming specialist for high-precision production.
What you will do
- Develop and modify CNC programs for milling and multi-axis equipment.
- Analyze technical drawings and 3D models to define machining strategies.
- Select tooling, speeds, and feeds to optimize machining performance.
- Test and validate programs directly on production machines.
- Identify machining issues and implement process improvements.
- Coordinate with engineering and shop floor teams while maintaining organized program files and version tracking.
Requirements
- 5+ years of CNC programming experience.
- Strong knowledge of machining techniques and materials, including metals, plastics, and alloys.
- Proficiency with CAM platforms and digital manufacturing tools such as Mastercam, plus model-based design and simulation/verification software.
- Solid understanding of G-code/M-code and multi-axis operations.
- Ability to read blueprints and apply GD&T principles.
- Familiarity with lean manufacturing concepts and fixture/tooling design, along with strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
