CNC Programmer

Location: Fully onsite in Cudahy, Wisconsin, USA; not eligible for hybrid or remote work.

What you will do

• Prepare CNC machine programs using computer systems, manual programming, or direct entry.
• Analyze part drawings and determine optimal machining methods.
• Transfer part geometry into CAD/CAM software and select tools, cutting speeds, and feed rates based on the material, tooling, and machine.
• Download and upload programs to manufacturing equipment and maintain setup sheets and related documentation.
• Perform prove-outs of new manufacturing processes, equipment, tooling, and fixtures while ensuring compliance with quality specifications.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve manufacturing problems and improve productivity, quality, methods, and costs.

Requirements

• Five to seven years of CNC or programming-related experience.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, technical drawings, procedures, regulations, and professional publications.
• Working knowledge of computers and appropriate software, CAD/CAM tools, small hand tools, and precision measuring devices.
• Ability to apply mathematical concepts including fractions, percentages, ratios, proportions, probability, statistical inference, and statistical process control.
• Ability to write reports, correspondence, and procedure manuals and communicate manufacturing plans, proposals, and results to managers, vendors, customers, and coworkers.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Temporary visa holders and candidates requiring current or future sponsorship are not eligible; sponsorship is not provided.
