TL;DR
Senior Stock Administrator (Equity Compensation/RSUs): Administering global equity compensation operations, including RSU grants, vesting, releases, cap table management, tax reporting, and audit support with an accent on data accuracy, regulatory compliance, and cross-functional coordination. Focus on IPO readiness, validating equity data across systems, improving operational workflows with AI tools, and resolving complex vesting and reporting requirements.

Location: Hybrid, with a minimum of three office days per week in Addison, Texas; Bellevue, Washington; Durham, North Carolina; Emeryville, California; or Reston, Virginia.

Salary: $100,000–$155,000 annual base salary, plus equity awards and benefits.

What you will do

  • Administer the global equity program, including grant setup, RSU vesting and releases, terminations, and cancellations.
  • Maintain grant, vesting, and cap table data across the stock plan platform, HRIS, and internal trackers.
  • Support equity tax withholding, reporting, financial disclosures, audits, and internal controls.
  • Coordinate with Finance, Payroll, Legal, HR/Benefits, leadership, and the stock plan platform provider.
  • Answer employee questions about equity awards, vesting dates, and tax withholding, and prepare recurring and ad hoc reports.
  • Support IPO readiness through data cleanup, cap table validation, system analysis, process documentation, and AI-enabled workflow improvements.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field.
  • 3–4+ years of stock plan administration experience, including RSU processing.
  • Strong knowledge of equity compensation regulations, tax implications, and RSU mechanics.
  • Experience with Shareworks, Equity Edge Online, or a similar equity administration platform.
  • Advanced Excel and data management skills, with strong analytical ability and attention to detail.
  • Ability to handle confidential compensation data and communicate equity concepts clearly across Finance, Legal, HR, and Payroll.

Nice to have

  • CEP Level II or III candidacy or Certified Equity Professional designation.
  • Experience supporting a company transitioning from private to public or public to private.
  • Familiarity with global equity plans and cross-border compliance.
  • Experience using AI tools to draft communications, build trackers, or automate routine operational tasks.
