Quality Engineer (Angleton, TX)

Location: Angleton, Texas, United States; onsite manufacturing role. Travel may include up to 10%. Relocation may be authorized. Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States without employment visa sponsorship.

Salary: $98,964–$120,957 per year, including base pay and variable incentive pay if eligible.

What you will do

• Collaborate with manufacturing teams and cross-functional partners to improve product and process quality.
• Promote quality as a competitive advantage through customer-first thinking, sustainability, risk-based thinking, and error proofing.
• Identify product quality improvement opportunities and develop, prioritize, and execute improvement programs.
• Define and track key performance indicators, including Lean Six Sigma savings and Cost of Quality.
• Provide statistical insights through control chart analysis, capability analysis, and experimental design.
• Support Statistical Process Control and Statistical Quality Control activities.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in a science or engineering discipline.
• At least two years of combined plant experience in manufacturing engineering, manufacturing technology, quality engineering, and/or product engineering.
• Experience working collaboratively in a manufacturing environment.
• Legal authorization to work in the United States without employment visa sponsorship is required.
• Ability to work onsite in Angleton, Texas and travel up to 10%.

Nice to have

• Experience with DQM, House of Quality, Product Process Understanding, statistics, APQP, FMEA, control plans, PPAP, SAP, or PLM documentation systems.
• Experience with change management, complaint management, supplier management, ISO 9001, QMS, or auditing.
• ASQ certifications such as Certified Quality Engineer, Certified Quality Auditor, or Certified Supplier Quality Professional.
