Finance Specialist (BC/Quotation & Program Controlling) (Automotive Finance): Building financial business cases and profitability analyses for new vehicle and engineering programs with an accent on cost estimation, quotation assumptions, and program controlling. Focus on modeling cost scenarios, analyzing variances, controlling SAP-funded projects, and improving profitability through gate reviews.

What you will do
- Build financial business cases for new programs and engineering changes, validating assumptions with responsible functions.
- Analyze cost variations across engineering changes, CAPEX updates, pricing, purchasing inputs, and indexed commodities.
- Model scenarios and thresholds, prepare program profitability reviews, and drive actions to improve profitability.
- Create projects in SAP, control fund releases, manage tooling rebills, and provide forecast updates.
- Coordinate claims during the program phase, validate recoverable amounts, and support post-audits and convergence planning.
- Support budgeting, forecasting, documentation, work instructions, and internal audits.
Requirements
- 2+ years of experience in costing or program controlling, ideally in the automotive industry.
- Strong knowledge of cost estimation, standard costing, and variance analysis.
- Experience in a matrixed, multinational organization and exposure to business leaders.
- Expertise in Excel-based financial modeling and solid working knowledge of SAP.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field; an engineering background is a significant plus.
- Fluent English and Spanish, with strong communication skills for translating complex data into actionable insights.
