Dir, Product Management (Software Supply Chain Security)

Location: Remote, United States

Salary: USD $140,400.00–$372,300.00 per year, plus potential bonus, stock, and role-dependent sales incentives.

What you will do

• Own the vision and multi-year strategy for a unified software supply chain security platform.
• Unify dependency security, artifact trust and provenance, package governance, and related capabilities into a coherent product experience.
• Build an application graph connecting code, repositories, artifacts, and applications to clarify vulnerability impact and remediation requirements.
• Define actionable security risk workflows that carry fixes through to completion across a broad ecosystem.
• Lead and develop product managers while partnering with Engineering and Design leadership on staffing and delivery.
• Shape packaging, pricing, adoption, revenue outcomes, executive briefings, and collaboration with Microsoft Security.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in product, service, project, or program management, software development, product design, or a related field; or a bachelor's degree with 6+ years of relevant experience.
• 2+ years of deep expertise in developer tools, developer platforms, or security products.
• 3+ years of people management experience.
• Experience owning a product area end to end as an individual contributor and leading or developing product managers.
• Ability to collaborate with Engineering, Design, Sales, and Customer Success on complex technical products.

Nice to have

• Experience with software supply chain security, including SCA, dependency management, package registries, SBOMs, provenance, attestations, or malware detection.
• Experience hiring, coaching, and managing product managers across different experience levels.
• Experience consolidating separately managed capabilities into a coherent product line.
• Experience with packaging, pricing, or consumption-based commercial models.
