Salary: $15.00–$24.51 per hour

What you will do

• Install switchgear and electrical components in custom-built metal equipment centers.
• Plan layouts and install wiring, fixtures, switches, relays, and circuit breakers.
• Run conduit and install cable trays according to electrical drawings and engineered designs.
• Perform electrical repairs, troubleshooting, and testing to meet customer specifications.
• Use hand and power tools safely and operate forklifts or material-handling equipment as needed.
• Follow National Electrical Code requirements and company electrical standards.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• At least 18 months of electrical-field experience or experience as an Electrical Helper preferred.
• Experience with electrical systems, wiring, and control equipment.
• Knowledge of the National Electrical Code and ability to read electrical drawings and schematics.
• Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, tape measures, grinders, and saws.
• Ability to perform physically demanding work, lift or move materials up to 50 pounds, and work around noise, dust, heat, cold, confined spaces, heights, and moving machinery.
