Licensed Optician - Assistant Manager - Bilingual (Optical Retail)

What you will do

• Drive and monitor profit, sales, and performance goals while managing operating costs, budgets, and resources.
• Oversee the eyeglass department, improving efficiency and ensuring compliance with company policies and operating standards.
• Deliver outstanding customer service and maintain quality standards across the store.
• Execute merchandising, marketing, pricing promotions, and other brand initiatives.
• Supervise, motivate, lead, and coach opticians and contact-lens sales associates.
• Support staffing forecasts, recruitment, retention, and mentoring of apprentice opticians where permitted by law.

Requirements

• Fluent English and Spanish required for reading and speaking.
• Optical license required as mandated by the state.
• Optical sales experience; supervisory experience is preferred.
• Leadership, coaching, communication, organizational, and customer service skills.
• Ability to analyze financial reports and solve problems of varied scope.
• ABO and NCLE certification.
