Quality Improvement Coordinator II (Healthcare)

Location: Remote

Salary: $33.71–$60.67 per hour

What you will do

• Conduct quality reviews of delegated entities, physician offices, and clinics, including onsite reviews when required.
• Investigate and resolve complaints, risk management cases, and sentinel events related to quality of care.
• Audit medical records, review administrative claims, analyze quality data, and support quality improvement studies.
• Coordinate clinical initiatives with community agencies, providers, and other external resources.
• Prepare utilization and quality improvement reports, enforce delegated-entity data submission requirements, and develop corrective action plans.
• Coordinate Quality Improvement Committee activities, chair delegated-entity meetings, and recommend policy and process enhancements.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing preferred.
• At least 3 years of clinical, quality improvement, or healthcare experience.
• At least 2 years of experience in a healthcare quality function.
• Experience with medical record audits, quality reviews, utilization data, and reporting.
• LPN, LVN, RN, PA, or LCSW license preferred; CPHQ certification preferred.
